The Club House (introduction and group forum)
This is the lobby or the forum of the Yacht Club. It's a great place to start making virtual sailing friends, introduce yourself and speak to sailors in your own language.
The Club Bar (general dicussion)
Every yacht club has a bar where people chat about sailing, getting the best from their boat and tell stories of their adventures. If you're feeling technical, you can ask all manner of complicated questions and be assured of getting an even more complicated answer.
The club bar is where the comedians, the freedom fighters, the scientists and the explorers all hang out. Sometimes, the noise is deafening!
Unlike most yacht clubs, animals (even goats) are allowed in the bar.
The Boat Yard (support forum) - ( VORG TUTORIAL)
The Boat Yard is where you can find the race officers (admins) most of the time. If you need help getting the most out of your virtual boat or you've broken it, you may find the answer in here. If the answer is not there, then asking a general question here will get the quickest response. If you can, please ask your question in English as it will get the quickest response.
The boat yard is kept tidy. Posts which are no longer relevant will be deleted. We will often take the "best bits" of a discussion and combine them to make a guide and then close the topic. Wandering goats, comedians, pirates and explorers will be herded into the bar!
The Ocean (Real race forum)
The place to go to dicuss the issues, news and views on the real race.
Notice Board
When a bug appears, the race officers (admins) will post an update in the Notice Board. This forum contains both "bug-updates" and some frequently asked questions.
Private Members Clubs
There are hundreds of private members bars in the Yacht Club (group forums) which are listed here. You can ask for an invite to one of the groups or even start one yourself. When you have been accepted you will see the name of your group under the main forums in the menu on the right. You can belong to more than one group.
